Every day in Queensland, children are sent to hospital with illnesses, disease and injuries and often require life saving equipment to aid in their recovery.

At the Preston James Fund we want to make sure that the Mater PICU has the latest technology equipment that can make the difference between life and death.

The Preston James Fund was fortunate to be a beneficiary of the Variety of Chefs Ball in 2010. On behalf of the Fund, Variety spent $30,000 on a mobile monitor which continuously measures the vital signs of critically ill children as they are moved around the hospital for tests.

We will continue to raise money for life saving equipment, so stay tuned!
