A day of style and stilettos kicked off the Preston James Fund’s A Cause for Kailis initiative on Friday 22 July. With Network Ten’s Amanda McLeay hosting the Claret house affair, and Triple M’s Emily-Jade on hand to have her baby-bump styled, the Preston James Fund raised $3,600 for the Mater Children’s Hospital’s Paediatric Intensive Care Unit.

With styling sessions and hot tips for summer, guests enjoyed an afternoon of fashion and champaign (and learnt a thing or two!) Special guest Roslynd Smith, who tragically lost her 10 week old Kailis in April this year, also graced the stage and was generous of her time to raise critical funds in her son’s name.

The Preston James Fund is supporting Roslynd and her family to raise money for life-saving intensive care equipment at the Mater. The day was a smashing success and we wait with bated breath for the Fund’s next event.
