25/01/2008

On 4 December 2007 at the impressive BMW Showroom in the Valley, The Zig Zag Foundation presented the PJRF with a generous grant of $40,000 to pay the salary of a research nurse for one year.

This research nurse will perform vital research into the care of critically ill children within the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Mater Children’s Hospital.

The Zig Zag Foundation was established in Brisbane in 2007 by Michelle Lawson. The Foundation raises money to help seriously ill and under-privileged children between the ages of 0 and 18 years.  The Zig Zag Foundation is made up of caring and hardworking individuals who generously donate their time because they are committed to the well-being of children.
